The cat that taught me about the Spirit of Christmas

Now I know what you're thinking, the Spirit of Christmas? Really??

Yep really! Many years ago I connected with Noodles, pictured below, who told me that she looks forward to Christmas every year and that there really is a Spirit of Christmas.

At first, I thought I was going a bit crazy but then I connected to a horse not long after who brought up the same thing! This horse explained that if 'we' (being the human race) were as forgiving and kind as we seem to be when the Spriit of Christmas is around, the world would be better place. This horse explained that we should check on family more often, get together more than we do usually and put our differences aside like we do around Christmas.

As I delved into my spiritual journey more and more over the years, it actually made sense to me that there is a Spirit of Christmas. There are elementals and spirits that look over certain aspects of this world. Spirits that connect and protect animals. Some spirits are in charge of looking after certain areas of the world, the wind, the ocean, everything so of course there is a Spirit of Christmas. It took a cat that lives on the other side of the world to make me pay attention to what is happening spiritually around the world each and every year.

For Noodles, she loves sitting underneath the Christmas tree. She loves that her humans connect with family and she loves that everyone has to stop, if only for a day, just to relax and enjoy each others' company.

Now I know that Christmas can be a very stressful time for a lot of families as it can be a large expense to any family. However, if you don't have much, just take a leaf out of Noodles book. Take a break, enjoy family, sit near a tree and be grateful that you have made it one more year on this crazy place we call earth.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, yes Noodles mum did confirm with me that Noodles truly does love Christmas time. In fact, she can't wait for the tree to be set up. Sitting under the tree is her favourite spot in the house during this time of year.
