Distractions and your destiny

You’ve all heard the saying ‘pick your battles’ but do we really apply it to our life? In life we should be focused on our destiny. There will be a lot of challenges that we will face to get to our destiny but just know that a lot of the challenges are merely distractions. If people are trying to distract you by name calling, telling you that you will never reach your goal or even just tell you that your destiny is stupid. Ignore them! You don’t need to follow tradition, you don’t need to listen to everyone’s negative comments and you don’t need to get involved in an argument with them about it. If people are pushing their negative opinion or energy onto you, whether they know it or not, don’t allow it. The energy that they are putting out, will come back to them. Don’t get distracted with arguments with people. If people are talking about you, let them. It’s their karma they will have to deal with. Focus on your truth.

The closer you get to your destiny, it seems the more people get jealous. Don’t take the bait. Some people don’t want peace, some people are looking to feed their own ego and want the attention on themselves. Don’t take the bait! Don’t get involved in pettiness, it won’t help you reach your destiny. Don’t get me wrong, you will need to stand up for yourself in life. Remember to always keep your destiny as the main focus. If you do engage in an argument, think about whether or not it will propel you forward to your goal or will it just feed your ego? If it just feeds your ego, let it go!

Your family may not even be supportive of you, they might even try to control you, it’s a distraction. Everyone has the right to their opinion, but you have the right not to listen. Don’t be selfish, that’s not my message. Be kind, be nice, love people and go the extra mile but keep your destiny as your focus. Balance is key.

For me, I love animals! I talk to them, I save them, I stand up for them. I have no issue standing up for the animals. If people don’t like that, that’s their problem. My truth is to be here on earth for the animals. Below is my favourite quote and it’s a quote I live my life by:

“Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.”

― Martin Luther King Jr.

Only you know what you are meant to be doing and I want to encourage you to follow your goal. Be bold! Follow what is in your heart otherwise you will never be truly happy.
