Feeling signs

Updated: Jul 31

A little while back now, a black butterfly with blue spots was flying really close and all around me, to the point where I had stop and take notice. I normally don’t take much notice, as I really dislike the generic signs that people always throw around, like: ‘oh a white feather means an angel is around’. Mate, I have white ducks, I see white feathers all day long.

Generally, seeing a butterfly isn’t a sign for me. Plus, after the rain, there have been a great deal of yellow butterflies buzzing around. When I see them, I just think that nature is really beautiful, I don’t go and google what it means as not everything is a sign, all the time. So, as you can see, I’m pretty much a sceptic on all these ‘signs’. That being said, this black & blue butterfly would not leave me alone and when it came right up to me, I could feel the words ‘transformation’ rising up in me. Almost as if it was coming out from within me. “What’s your point” you say? My point is, a sign is something that you can feel from inside and you ‘know’ what it means. It’s a feeling that you can’t describe but you know is real. It could be something that jumps out at you in a movie or a billboard, a song on the radio, a flower moving when everything else is still, an item that is out of place. It’s generally not a generic item, however it can be if you get the feeling and understand the meaning. You also won’t need someone to interpret the sign for you, as you will know what it means. It could be a message from a loved one to let you know that they are okay. It could be a message for you from spirit, to let you know you’re on the right path. It’s not something that you can create or force, you will recognise a sign and the meaning when you receive one. Be open to receiving signs and remember; if it’s a sign, you will FEEL it.
